October – Richard Putskey, Brakebush Transportation
Westfield, WI
Richard has been a driver for 43 years, the last 30 with Brakebush Transportation. He has 3.8 million safe miles. Rick has participated in the Waupun TruckNShow and the Special Olympics Truck convoy. He delivers truckloads for the WI chapter of the Orphan Grain Train bringing food & medical supplies to non-profits in the US.
Richard is always helpful to new drivers and helps out the safety department. Richard lives in Wautoma.
November – Robert Kluetzman, Ruan Transportation
Madison, WI
Bob has been driving more than 47 years the last 25 with Ruan Transportation. He has 5.8 million accident free miles.
Bob has also been the Training Safety Instructor. He is always willing to take calls from driver on nights and weekends. Many times he has come to the aid of motorists while on the road. He received a letter of commendation when putting out a fire under an oxygen tank.
Bob is very involved in his church and supports the Lebanon Historical Society. He supports area 5K runs for local charities.
Bob and his wife, Judy, live in Watertown.
December – Randall Tilot, Birchwood Transport
Kenosha, WI
Randall has been driving 33 years all but 3 months of that time with Birchwood Transport. Randall has over 3.6 million safe miles. Randall has assisted fellow motorists over the course of his career. He is always willing to help with operations or if they need some assistance in safety. Randall and his wife, Susan, live in Racine.
From the twelve Drivers of the Month, one will be selected as the 2022 Driver of the Year. All 12 Drivers of the Month will be honored at the Annual Safety Awards Banquet which will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2023, at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center, 1305 Kalahari Drive, Wisconsin Dells, WI.
