Started in 1937 to spotlight the skills of the trucking industry’s top drivers, the competition you will see today is designed to select all-around champions who are more than just good drivers. The participants have spent many additional hours learning about their industry. They have studied the principles and regulations pertinent to safe driving and the facts of first aid and firefighting.
To be eligible, a driver must have at least one year of driving experience and one year of totally accident-free driving. Of course, most of the drivers entered have many years and many miles without accidents and represent Wisconsin’s finest professionals.

ELIGIBILITY:
Any driver domiciled in Wisconsin who regularly performs the duties of a professional truck driver; has an accident-free record of at least 12 months prior to truck driving championships competition; meets DOT physical requirements and must have been employed by one employer continuously for 12 months or for the same period engaged as an independent contractor with one carrier prior to the driving championships.
The registration fee is $150 for each member company driver, which includes two (2) tickets to the evening banquet. The non-member fee is $175 per driver and also includes two (2) tickets to the evening banquet.
