Travis Lauer – Compliance Review Investigator, WI State Patrol
Travis started with the Wisconsin State Patrol in 2000. He worked as a Motor Carrier Inspector out of the Southwest Region DeForest Post until 2021 where he worked at the Utica and Beloit SWEFS. Travis is also North American Standard Level 1 certified, Hazmat certified, Cargo Tank certified, and Passenger Vehicle certified. As well as completing salvage, school bus, motor bus and HSV state mandated inspections. From 2012 to 2021 he worked at State Patrol Headquarters in Madison doing IT support work and for 2.5 years as the Motor Carrier Sergeant Statewide Oversize/overweight (OSOW) Escort Coordinator. In 2021, he took a position and is currently a Compliance Review Investigator in the WSP Motor Carrier Investigation Unit.
Travis Zaremba – Division Administrator, FMCSA
Travis is the new Wisconsin Division Administrator. Travis was born and raised in Wisconsin and graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. He began his career working for the State of Wisconsin. Travis was actively involved in the WI MCSAP program for many years before he joined FMCSA. He has over 15 years of trucking experience. Travis loves watching and playing sports, as well as participating in a variety of other outdoor activities.
