First introduced to Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood in 2010, Osteria Morini brings the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy to the historic Navy Yards in Washington, D.C. Known as the Italian Breadbasket, Emilia-Romagna is also the birthplace of some of the flavors and ingredients most commonly associated with Italian cuisine worldwide: prosciutto, mortadella, parmigiano, and balsamic vinegar.
In Italian, “osteria” means a place where the owner “hosts” guests. The restaurant offers dinner seven nights a week.
The open kitchen allows for guests to watch the action of their meal preparation unfold. Corporate Executive Chef Bill Dorrler oversees the kitchen operations at Osteria Morini. The wine list was curated to include wines native to this part of Italy.

Welcome to Mission Navy Yard, a lively bar and restaurant located across from Nationals Park and three blocks from Audi Field. We opened in July 2018 and eagerly provide a vibrant bar scene, daily happy hour, spacious private event and outdoor spaces and delicious Tex-Mex cuisine. Our sister restaurant, Mission Dupont, has been serving strong margaritas and tasty tacos since 2014. We refuse to believe that a restaurant only has one purpose: we aim to provide a bustling bar scene, comfortable dining and versatile private event spaces that can accommodate groups of all sizes. Our spaces are created to be welcoming for brunch, happy hour, dinner and private events, as well as those looking to rewind in a vibrant weekend late-night atmosphere.
The first of our four bars is found in a two-story atrium that is designed with the feel of an outdoor courtyard. A sprawling staircase encircles a two-story tower that overlooks the plaza bar. DC’s largest bar, at 150-feet, anchors the second level, flanked by six garage doors that open onto large outdoor balconies. The main dining room, with its own bar and balconies, is also on the second level. A private dining and event space boasts the restaurant’s fourth bar.
