Matt Hovar – FMCSA State Programs Specialist
Matt served 20 years with the State of Iowa as a Certified Driver License Examiner for all vehicles and later became a Driver License Hearing Officer. In 2014, he then helped establish the Third Party CDL Examiner auditing program for the State of Iowa and was the Lead CDL Examiner Trainer and Lead CDL Examiner Auditor. In 2018, he started work with FMCSA as a Safety Investigator. In 2022, he became the State Program Specialist in the State of Wisconsin.
