October – Barry Nalley, America’s Service Line
Barry has been driving for 25 years, the last 4 with ASL. Barry has 2.5 million accident free miles. Barry is very helpful with other drivers. He makes sure he has a positive image for the customers. Barry is married to Linda who was very anxious to share what a dedicated driver and husband he is. Linda said Barry does everything to make sure he comes home safe and everyone’s family does too.
November – Joe Kolpacki, Schneider
Joe has been driving for 28 years all with Schneider. Joe has 3 million safe miles. He as done so many different driving jobs a Schneider, the most current is running the eastern 37 states. Joe serves as a mentor to new drivers. He is very professional with all customers and colleagues. Joe and his family live in Woodruff.
December – Stanley Menzel, WEL Companies
Stanley has been driving for 50 years, the last 19 with WEL. Stanley has 6.4 million miles 3 million with WEL all accident free. A couple of times, Stanley thought he would retire, but came back to drive. Stanley is always there to help other drivers one the road for any company. In 1989 Stanley was driving through Mishicot when a tornado broke out. His truck was overturned but he was uninjured due to having his seatbelt on. At that time the government was trying to get the seatbelt law passed. They asked Stanley to do a national commercial on seatbelt use. He was awarded the “Saved By The Belt’ award from the Governor.
Stanley and his large family, 3 daughter & 7 grandchildren live in Stevens Point. When he isn’t with his family you can find him on the golf course.
