r Overview\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This webinar will focus on cl
arifying the recent independent contractor ruling that was finalized on Ja
nuary 10th by the Department of Labor. This rule rolls back a Trump-era ru
le offering guidance on determining employee or independent contractor cla
ssification under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This rules volatility is c
ausing some anxiety in the industry. Department of Labor (DOL) rules gover
ning the classification of independent contractors will revert to the pre-
2021 changes March 11 - rule changes that impact contractors in all career
s but have vast implications for owner-operator truck drivers and fleets t
 hat use them.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column widt
