 itorial Resource Area. Tom specializes in motor carrier safety and operati
 ons management. He serves as editor of the monthly Transportation Safety M
 anagment Today newsletter for both print and online publication. Tom also 
 contributes to the development of forms\, training programs and kits\, sof
 tware\, and online services.\n\nBefore joining J.J. Keller &amp\; Associat
 es\, Tom had 23 years of industry experience. While employed in the indust
 ry\, Tom held various safety-related positions\, including driver\, driver
  trainer\, claims manager\, safety supervisor\, lead instructor\, and Safe
 ty Director. As Safety Director\, he was responsible for DOT compliance\, 
 policy development\, driver human resources\, driver training\, CDL testin
 g\, and accident prevention for a fleet of 350 trucks and drivers.\n\nTom 
 is involved in the National Private Truck Council\, Wisconsin Motor Carrie
 rs Association\, and Wisconsin Safety Management Council. He has completed
  all of the roadside inspector training courses offered by the Commercial 
 Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) and has been a voting committee member and 
 program secretary for CVSA. He is also an instructor at MidState Technical
  College\, a chief officer and advanced emergency medical technician for t
 he Amherst\, WI fire department\, and previously served as a fire investig
 ator on the Portage County Fire Investigation Task Force.[/vc_column_text]

 enior Transportation Specialist | Acrisure\n\nMark has more than 33 years 
 of experience in the transportation safety industry\, all of which have be
 en dedicated to truck and bus safety. Prior to joining Acrisure in 2017\, 
 Marks' law enforcement career began in 1989 focusing on highway safety ini
 tiatives with the Wisconsin State Patrol's Motor Carrier Enforcement Divis
 ion. This involved conducting roadside safety inspections\, HM inspections
 \, career audits\, education\, and various law enforcement activities.\n\n
 In 1995 while participating in the International Inspector Championships h
 e was awarded the "Grand Champion Award". In 1997\, he was promoted to Ser
 geant supervising regional Motor Carrier enforcement operations and earned
  his Certified Public Manager designation. In 2014\, Mark was promoted to 
 supervision of the statewide Motor Carrier Enforcement and Investigation U
 nit.\n\nDuring his service Mark also served as WI State Patrol's Data Qual
 ity Review Administrator\, served on FMCSA's Technical Advisory Group\, pa
 rticipated in CVSA committees\, and instructed for FMCSA's National Traini
 ng Center. Mark is also past Chair of Wisconsin's Safety Management Counci
