Thi s involved conducting roadside safety inspections\, HM inspections\, caree r audits\, education\, and various law enforcement activities.\n\nIn 1995 while participating in the International Inspector Championships he was aw arded the "Grand Champion Award". In 1997\, he was promoted to Sergeant su pervising regional Motor Carrier enforcement operations and earned his Cer tified Public Manager designation.
