how to make them accountable for risk management and compliance - a key co
mponent for risk management\n\nCliff Johnson\, Acuity: Equipment Maintenan
ce and how it relates to the FMCSA’s Safety Management Cycle\nThe Safety
Management Cycle (SMC) is a system developed by the FMCSA that can help y

.\n\nTom Bray\, J.J. Keller &amp\; Associates: Using data tracking and tre

session we will look at data sources\, internal and external\, that carrie
rs can and should be evaluating to see when their potential problem are We
will also look at how\, and why\, to take action based on the data.\n\nGa

cohol usage and/or possession by Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) drivers is
often overshadowed by more frequent violations that adversely affect the
more common CSA Unsafe Driving\, Hours of Service\, and/or Vehicle Mainten
ance basics.  When they do occur\, they can have a profound impact on the
motor carrier from a liability standpoint as well as the Drug and Alcohol
CSA basic.  This session will discuss various aspects associated Drug an
d Alcohol Compliance\; from prevention of incidents to the proper handling
when they do occur.  We will also discuss the ramifications of non-compl

SUMMARY:1/2 Day New Food Safety Transport Rules
DESCRIPTION:Topic: New Food Safety Transport Rules\nIn this seminar we will
be discussing the “Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food reg
ulation\,” which is effective April of 2017. This rule applies to most
carriers that transport food that is not completely enclosed in packaging
or that requires temperature control. Carriers transporting other food pro
ducts can also be affected by these regulations\, due to contractual langu
age that is based on these regulations assigning specific responsibilities
to the carrier. We will be discussing the requirements the regulation wil
l place on carriers\, the requirements that shippers can place on carriers
based on the rule\, and what carriers that are covered by this rule shoul
 d be doing to prepare and comply.\nPresenter: Tom Bray\, J.J. Keller &amp\
