 haffee - WI State Patrol\n\nRyan Chaffee has served in law enforcement sin
 ce 2000 as a graduate of the Wisconsin State Patrol's 51st Recruit Class. 
 He is currently the Lieutenant Colonel and director of the Bureau of Field
  Operations. The Bureau of Field Operations directs Regional Operations an
 d Specialized Services in the State Patrol and includes over 500 sworn and
  non-sworn employees.\n\nLt. Col. Chaffee began his State Patrol career as
  a trooper in the Southwest Region - Tomah Post assigned to Monroe County.
  Shortly after\, he transferred to the Northwest Region and worked in Eau 
 Claire and Chippewa Counties. As a trooper\, he served as a field training
  officer\, background investigator\, vehicle contacts instructor\, and pil
 ot in the State Patrol's Air Support Unit.\n\nIn 2012\, Lt. Col. Chaffee w
 as promoted to the rank of sergeant and was assigned the Northern Dane Cou
 nty work unit in the Southwest Region - DeForest Post. Shortly after\, whi
 le serving as a sergeant\, he was placed in command of the Air Support Uni
 t and served as the Chief Pilot and flight instructor.\n\nIn 2015\, Lt. Co
 l. Chaffee was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and Executive Officer fo
 r the Northeast Region - Fond Du Lac Post. He served in this position unti
 l 2017 when he was promoted to Captain and Region Commander for the Northe
 ast Region. During his time in the Northeast Region\, Lt. Col. Chaffee ser
 ved as the State Patrol's incident Commander during the 2015 PGA Tournamen
 t and 2020 Ryder Cup and served as the Operations Section Chief for the 20
 16 Republican National Convention in Cleveland\, OH.\n\nIn 2021\, Lt. Col.
  Chaffee was promoted to Major and Deputy Director of the Bureau of Field 
 Operations assigned to Regional Operations and served in that position unt
 il 2022 when he was promoted to his current position.\n\nLt. Col. Chaffee 
 graduated from the University of Nebraska in May 2000. While there\, he ea
 rned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice and business administration
 . He is also a Wisconsin Law Enforcement Command College graduate\, where 
 he earned his certification as a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager in 201
 9. Lt. Col. Chaffee has recently been selected to attend the 290th Session

 ess Advisor - J.J. Keller &amp\; Associates\, Inc.\n\nTom joined J.J. Kell
 er &amp\; Associates\, Inc. in 2005 as an editor in the Transportation Pub
 lishing Department\, Editorial Resource Area. Tom specializes in motor car
 rier safety and operations management. He serves as editor of the monthly 
 Transportation Safety Management Today newsletter for both print and onlin
 e publication. Tom also contributes to the development of forms\, training
  programs and kits\, software\, and online services.\n\nBefore joining J.J
 . Keller &amp\; Associates\, Tom had 23 years of industry experience. Whil
 e employed in the industry\, Tom held various safety-related positions\, i
 ncluding driver\, driver trainer\, claims manager\, safety supervisor\, le
 ad instructor\, and Safety Director. As Safety Director\, he was responsib
 le for DOT compliance\, policy development\, driver human resources\, driv
 er training\, CDL testing\, and accident prevention for a fleet of 350 tru
 cks and drivers.\n\nTom is involved in the National Private Truck Council\
 , Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association\, and Wisconsin Safety Management C
 ouncil. He has completed all of the roadside inspector training courses of
 fered by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) and has been a voti
 ng committee member and program secretary for CVSA. He is also an instruct
 or at MidState Technical College\, a chief officer and advanced emergency 
 medical technician for the Amherst\, WI fire department\, and previously s
 erved as a fire investigator on the Portage County Fire Investigation Task

 ba is the new Wisconsin Division Administrator at FMCSA. Travis was born a
 nd raised in Wisconsin and graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.\n\nH
 e began his career working for the State of Wisconsin. Travis was actively
  involved in the WI MCSAP program for many years before he joined the FMCS
 A. He has over 15 years of trucking experience. Travis loves watching and 
 playing sports\, as well as participating in a variety of other outdoor ac
