January – Lance Bickham, America’s Service Lines
Green Bay, WI
Lance has more than 3 million accident-free miles. He has been with America’s Service Lines the last 10 years. Lance helps out all the new drivers he can. He has been in the PSDC for the last 4 years. Lance loves spending his time off with his wife Wendy & their little dog Gizmo.
February – Kirk Phillips, Johnsonville Trucking
Kirk has been a professional driver for over 40 years all with Johnsonville Trucking. He has more than 4 million accident-free miles. Kirk has been in the PSDC for 24 years. Kirk has both participated and volunteered at the WTDC. Kirk serves Johnsonville as mentor, coach, and driver trainer. Kirk is always willing to assist where needed and goes out of his way to meet all the needs of the customers, internally & externally.
March – Kurt Riehl, W&A Distribution Services
Fort Atkinson, WI
Kurt has been a professional driver for 14 years, the last 11 with W&A Distribution. He has over 1.5 accident-free miles. Kurt loves to travel, most recently traveling to the Solomon Islands where he collected and delivered library & classroom supplies to the students in the village of Peava. Kurt is a Trucker Buddy to a classroom in Wisconsin where he shares letters, postcards & souvenirs with the students. In September Kurt became an ambassador for the City of Fort Atkinson. A joint project with chamber of commerce the Ft Atkinson Tourism trailer is currently traversing the country. Kurt promotes the trucking industry, tourism and the community of Fort Atkinson.
From the 12 Drivers of the Month, one will be selected as the 2021 Driver of the Year. All 12 Drivers of the Month will be honored at the Annual Safety Awards Banquet which will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at The Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
