Carmen Anderson – America’s Service Line

Carmen has been a professional driver for 21 years.  Carmen has 2.1 accident free miles.  Carmen has spent many hours promoting the trucking industry in her many volunteer activities.  Carmen is on the Organizing Committee for the Special Olympics Truck Convoy in her home state of SD. Carmen has been a member of the Wisconsin Road Team, a member of the Women in Trucking, on the Image Team.  She has participated in the SD Truck Driving Championship, with a 1st place finish in 2015 and most recently 2nd place.  Carmen is a Trucker Buddy Member.  She enjoys her 2 furbabies Rodney and Otis.

Dan Kudela – Walmart Transportation – Menomonie
Dan has been a professional truck driver for more than 43 years. He has 4 million accident free miles and has worked for Walmart since 2014. He has 1.6 million miles with Walmart alone. Dan has been a member of the Wisconsin Road team where he goes out and teaches high school students to share the road with 18 wheelers. Dan volunteers with his church and with the Special Olympics and served in the military.  Dan is married and lives in Elk Mound WI.

Roger Walker – Veriha Trucking – Marinette

Roger has been a professional truck driver for 26 years with the last 21 driven with Veriha Trucking as a city driver.  He has logged 1.4 million miles as a city driver. Roger’s driver manager says he always does the right thing and puts the company first. He is flexible and is always willing to help with anything that is needed of him. His supervisor loves working with him.  Roger lives in Marinette, WI.

Keith  Skonning – Americas Service Line – Green Bay

Keith has been a professional driver for 22 years.  The last 13 years he has worked for Americas Service Lines pulling tankers.  He is currently a city driver for AS and in the 13 years he has only called in sick one time. Keith is married to his wife Jean. They enjoy golfing in the summer and watching football in the winter.

Paul Gilstad – Marten Transport – Mondovi
Paul has been a professional driver for 22 years.  The last 9 years he has been driving for Marten Transport.   Paul lives in Mondovi  where he is a local driver for them.  Paul is genuinely an excellent guy who goes above and beyond to help out.  He never turns us down.  Paul has been in the President’s Safe driver club.

William  Bancroft – WEL Companies – De Pere

William has been a professional driver for 40 year, the last 30 with WEL Companies.  He has driven over 5 million miles.  He lives with his wife Jean in Marinette.  He enjoys being at his cabin with his family and spending time at sporting events that his grandchildren participate in.  He has been 21 years in the President’s Safe Driver Club.

Bill Oakes – Walmart Transportation – Beaver Dam

Bill has been a professional driver for 33 years. He has over 1 million safe miles.  Bill has been driving for Walmart for 4 ½ years.  He is also a trainer with them.  Bill served in our US Coast Guard.  Bill is described as being very patient on the roadways.  He loves the freedom and adventure the Freightliner can offer him.

Roger Lietzau – Klemm Tank Lines / Kenan Advantage Group

Roger has been a professional driver for 36 years.  He has over 2.5 million safe miles.  Prior to driving truck Roger was with the US Army.  Roger is Klemm’s lead driver trainer.  He is the 1st to raise his hand when other areas have hurricanes or other acts of God, to volunteer to help out for as long as needed.

HarJan Sloots – Marten Transport

Harjan has a professional driver for 15 years.  He has been with Marten for 10 years.  Harjan has 1.2 million safe miles.  Harjan has been with Marten for 9 years on the Walmart Dedicated accounts.  He is a Tomah driver mentor.  He specializes in creating relationships with the stores / managers and represents Marten the way his employer wishes all drivers would.  He turned a challenging route into a great opportunity to train our new drivers.

Lisa Buhrow – Walmart Transportation Beaver Dam 

Lisa has been a professional truck driver for 28 years with 2 million safe miles.  Lisa has driven for Walmart for the last 6 years.  She is a member of Women in Trucking.  Her experiences include a ride-a-long with Mark Gottlieb Secretary of Transportation, US Congress Reid Ribble,  and US Congressman Mike Gallagher.  Lisa is a past member of the Wisconsin Road Team.  She has volunteered for 3 eyars at her local Human Society.  Lisa is a Walmart Driver mentor and a Walmart Certified Driver Trainer.  When Lisa isn’t on the road she is traveling on cruises.  Her advice is don’t let your troubles drive you, stay focused on driving safely and don’t allow anyone to make you do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing.

Brian Zerbst – Skinner Transfer

Brian has been a professional driver for 43 years, the last 36 with Skinner Transfer.  Brian has over 3.4 million miles.  Brian has been in the President Safe Drivers Club for 19 years.  That is really 22 years without an incident or accident in any vehicle. He has competed in the Wisconsin Truck Driving Championship 4 different years. When Brian is not driving truck he enjoys snowmobiling, ATVing, deer hunting and camping.  He is a very humble individual who does not believe he deserves any recognition for his safe driving, he says he is just doing his job.

Richard Nelson – Veriha Trucking 

Richard has been a professional driver for over 22 years.  The last 13 years he has driven for Veriha.  He has 1.7 miles.  Richard has been on the Presidents Safe Driver Club for the past 10 years.  He has also earned Veriha’s Million Mile Award. Richard believes in helping other drivers.  He believes in being safe and compliant with the operation of the operation of the equipment.  He believes in looking professional when he is out of his truck and takes great pride in keeping his truck shining!  He loves being a driver.
